Cool site, IOL are the worst culprits. Their ‘news’ site has gone to the dogs lately.
More IOL – check out the higlighted headline, hahahaha
It is not a fuckup as such, but ja, they could really stop with this fingering of people on the front pages.

Sure, if the site was all about Twitter or SMS typos, but it is not. Maybe it is short for “EmptyNet”.
Johannesburg, Durban, Where ?
“The 42-year-old actress – who plays a sexually ferocious dentist who prays on her colleague in the comedy – quickly had to be undressed in front of co-star Charlie Day just minutes after they met, but found she didn’t mind. ”
She doesn’t sound all that sexually ferocious, more like a religious fanatic
This is by Sunday World’s Senior Associate Editor, Kuli Roberts. The errors are endless. They are NOT abbreviations or sms text. Example – ”Wow, some varied opinions indeed! Can u ask him for R10 for let’s sake, parking? Is it still Gold digging? Kwaa.. May he ask you for ten?”
“Limpopo cop shot deat”. Deat, really? … in the headline?!
Have a look how this guy spells ‘meter’
Man steals two metre whale tooth
A man in dark coat and hat has stolen a 2.5m whale tooth from a Norwegian museum.
Actually ‘metre’ is an acceptable alternative for ‘meter’ in the US. In the UK, consensus seems to be that ‘metre’ is the term for a measurement, and ‘meter’ means the tool which you use to measure things. So, one could say for example that the gas meter is about three metres from the kitchen door.
Kyknet aanbieder het ‘n glipsie gehad toe sy sê “voorvelle” in plaas van “voorvalle”
Whale removed in Cape Town. How the hell did that get into the city???
BOGUS DOCTOR ARRESTED AT PELONOMI HOSPITAL
A man masquerading as a doctor was arrested at Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein in the Free State, police said on Sunday.
The man was expected to face a charge of forgery and possession of stethoscope in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
I’m confused…. Is it actually illegal to have a stethoscope in your possession?
